9/13/25 #kihei #piikea Around noon yesterday (9/12/2025) the barricades came down to officially unveil the "new" complete street, Pi‘ikea Road. The year long closure makai of the roundabout caused all to travel about a block either North or South to move between South Kihei Road and Liloa.

  9/2/25 #kihei As the long term greenwaste recycling facility mauka of the Pi'ilani Hwy in Kihei recently closed, there was no nearby facility to perform this needed service...BUT NOW THERE IS!  On the edge on our South Maui District, at the intersection of the Honoapi'ilani and Kuihelani State Highways, Hawaii Organics Compost is now open for business.     So let's recycle these listed materials at this new locally owned business, and keep it out of the County...
