UPCOMING MAUI BICYCLE LEAGUE RIDE!
Saturday, December 12 at 8:45 AM

We know it’s been a challenging year so let’s wrap up 2020 on a positive note with another (small) group ride! Please join us Saturday, December 12 on a 17 mile roundtrip ride from Kalama Park (Kihei) to Makena.

We’ll meet at 8:45 am at Kalama Park for a 9 am departure time. The group will head southbound towards Makena for 8.5 miles before turning around. This ride is intended for intermediate to advanced-level cyclists who can maintain speeds of about 10-12 mph. E-bike riders are always welcome.

We’ll return to Kalama Park at about 11 am, anticipating a 2 hour ride duration including water breaks. Riders are encouraged to wear holiday-themed attire to celebrate the season!

We will be making a few changes to our standard events in order to comply with COVID-19 guidelines and to keep you safe:

  • Open to 9 participants with one ride leader. First come, first served and advanced RSVP is required. No walk-ins permitted.
  • Face coverings are required to be worn before and after the ride. Please maintain at least 6 feet from other participants.
  • No holiday potluck this time, but don’t forget snacks and water for yourself!

Cycling is a great way to have fun with friends while still maintaining safe a social distance from others. Please help us continue hosting these rides by following all guidelines and staying home if you are feeling sick!
