KCA appreciatively accepted an invitation to attend this meeting, and had attended a initial one almost a year ago ( SEE https://gokihei.org/environment/first-kula-aha-moku-meeting-in-kihei-on-tuesday). While we were unable to stay for the entire meeting we did observe most of two presentations offered after the opening introduction and pule.
The first was an update of the Wailea 670 ( renamed Honua’ula) project near Wailea, followed by a presentation from the Oneloa Coalition concerning a wetlands restoration project at the south end of Makena State Park.. (As a member of the Coalition, we offered a report on our website https://gokihei.org/environment/kca-participates-in-oneloa-coalition-meeting
These two moku’s represent the entire south side of Maui Island, mountain top to the ocean.
