Whatever happened to the Kamaole Grand Project in South Kihei?

5/31/21 #Kihei  Do you remember this proposed project back in 2017?  219 residential condominium units located right in the heart of South Kihei. Legal action was taken to stop it but that failed at the Maui Planning Commission (MPC). KCA proposed numerous conditions if it were to be approved but NONE of them were instituted by the MPC.  Permits were awarded; all system go; so what happened to the project? We don’t know why they didn’t proceed, and now the land is for sale. Before you spring for the $13.4 million asking price, you might take a look at some our reports back in 2017.  SEE
