At 10:00 am the spotless new skateboard amenity at Kalama Park was blessed and then flooded with helmeted young skateboarders. Big KCA mahalo to our own Andrew Beerer and the Rixey ‘ohana for decades of efforts on the creation of the original and now this refurbishing. Participating in the ceremony were South Maui Council Member Kelly King, Council Chair Alice Lee and Mayor Michael Victorino.
