4/30/20 #kihei
While we held out in hopes that we might proceed on May 19th, we decided to once again cancel our general membership meeting for May due to the State and County leaders pronouncements and the status reports on the COVID-19 health crisis. We are hoping to reconvene on July 21st.
Historically, in election years like this one, we have devoted two or three meetings to candidate forums. However, this wretched virus influences our decisions, as it does in almost everything these days, so we will reconsider and revise the meeting agendas as needed.
Meanwhile, we will continue doing all we can to support our community, as we have for almost six decades. We remind members to please keep your membership current and ask those are not yet members to consider joining.
Further, we encourage everyone to continue to support the Maui Food Bank with non perishable food donations, since the general membership meetings, which provided the MFB with food donations normally, are currently on hiatus.

Mike, Please hold the meeting via a video conference like Zoom. I would likely draw an even bigger attendance than usual.
The prior comment is from Stuart Karlan
Mahalo Stuarat The BOD had considered that option. but there were too many challenges. Depending on the situation in July we will explore it again
I’ve been doing them for a year-and-a-half now, so let me now if you need technical help in conducting a Zoom KCA meeting.
Mahalo
