Do you have time to address all of your concerns about what happens on Maui? Most do not, so they rely on others to represent them, whether they be your community association or your elected officials. At the Kihei Charter Middle School at 41 E. Lipoa on Tuesday (11/20) at 6:30 PM, you can hear what all of them are trying to accomplish for our community in the coming year. The twelve candidates for the 2013 KCA Board of Directors (BOD) will be presented to the general membership for a confirmation vote into office. Various Directors will address specific committee actions, comment on government decisions, elaborate on KCA programs and projects, as a slide show unveils some KCA history. We’ll have an update on Land Use Commission’s latest decisions on commercial development in No Kihei. And KCA president Jon Miller will interview out newly elected officials, State Representative Kaniela Ing and County Councilmember Don Couch concerning what we can expect in the respective legislatures for 2013. As this will be the final community meeting for this year, please remeber a strong donation of non-persihable food for the Maui Food Bank on Tuesday evening.
