Next week – Wednesday, December 14, 5:30 pm at the Malcom Center next to Maui Brewing Company) – the South Maui Community Plan Advisory Committee will be meeting to continue to discuss the future of housing in South Maui. The Community Plan is to guide housing development for the next 20 years. On 12/7 the policies around housing were evaluated. On 12/14 we will discuss desired actions for livable communities, including parks, bikeways and housing..
Your testimony will have the most impact if it directly references proposed policies and actions that are to be discussed at the week’s meeting. The best way to ensure that is to submit written testimony by noon on a Monday for the specific topics of the week’s meeting to wearesouthmaui@mauicounty.gov. You can also testify in person.
