After their very successful flood forum just before Thanksgiving, which KCA cosponsered, the Clean Water Committee is now seeking a pilot project as a way to determine what can help mitigate the seasonal flooding in Kihei.
One of the considerations for the project concerns the availablity of recycled (R-1) water for irrigation of any plantings. The committee is investigating line location, such as what appears to be a source at the corner of Liloa & Waipuilani, below.
