Is vital too strong a word to describe the need of adequate rainfall for existance on Maui? Probably the single individual who can best advise our county of history and potential future of our real rainfall is UH Manoa Professor, Dr Tom Giambelluca, creator of the rainfall atlas who will offer a presentation next Monday (7/16/12)
Presented by the Sustainable Living Institute of Maui, Maui Tomorrow Foundation, and Maui County Department of Water Supply, this free event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30pm at UH-MC’s Pilina Bldg multi-purpose room with light refreshments provided.
