Collaborations are nothing new on Maui, including cooperative efforts of non profits working toward common goals. Using the somewhat cumbersome working title, Association of Community Associations(ACA,) representatives of numerous such entities, as well as other non profits, assembled at Kanuoa Senior Center (7/2/12) for their second meeting to begin formulating plans and examining the pros and cons of joining together, while still retaining  autonominity. Organized and moderated by the dueling KCA’s, Kihei’s Daniel opened the meeting and presided over the first half until his counterpart Dick from Kula continued the program to conclusion. After the entities meet with their own boards for discussion, the group will have their third meeting on July 23.
