Final 2019 General Membership Meeting Was Fun and Games

And there was the 2019 KCA Wiliwili Warrior Award as well as the eleven member 2020 Board of DirectorS election by the membership too !

On Tuesday evening at Stawasz Hall at the St. Theresa Church facility, we concluded our final general membership meeting with a varied format orchestrated by long-term KCA director Andrew Beerer. He assembled a wide variety of diverse local organizations from the recreation field and set them up with tables around the perimeter of the hall so each and all were approachable by everyone in attendance. Spanning from adult runners to outrigger canoe paddlers to tennis to general fitness to soccer to little league to skate boarding and on and on, there was something for anyone who wanted to get their grove on and move more.

But before all this we had the election of the 2020 BOD and we awarded our Wiliwili Warrior Award https://gokihei.org/the-wiliwili-award to outstanding community volunteer, Jefferson Stillwell, for his years of service to KCA as a former board member and continuing volunteer work with KCA and our community.

The next meeting is JAN 21, 2020 when we expect to hear a presentation concerning the South West Maui Watershed as well the Kihei Master Drainage Plan.”
