With no December meeting planned,  last Monday’s Alliance of Maui Community  Associations meeting closed out the year with the room full of participants. The Association members were voicing concerns for the new County Council to our South Maui member Kelly King, who is expected to be the Council chair for 2019.

Dick Mayer from Kula continues to champion the Alliance, and he pulled out the stops to get guys from near and far to the Kaunoa Senior Center for the 6:00 PM meeting. While we had two current and one prior director participating,  this time we were NOT the only association with the triple threat.
