Maui has some spooktakular events planned to celebrate Halloween! Here are the events that we’ve managed to compile, if we missed anything, please let us know.

Halloween Kihei 4th Friday: Oct 24, 6-8PM
It’s October and time for the Halloween Kihei 4th Friday. Local Vendors and Food Trucks. Classic Cars with Halloween decor. Halloween music by Nevah Too Late and Missy Aguilar in Food Court. Kathy Collins as MC and our Annual Keiki Halloween Costume Contest. Spooky Fun for the whole family! See you soon!!
South Shore Haunted House & More: Oct 24, 25, 29, 30 & 31
Azeka Shopping Center announces the return of the South Shore Haunted House, open Oct. 24, 25, 29, 30 and Halloween night (Oct. 31) starting at 6 p.m. at Azeka Makai near Nalu’s South Shore Grill. Admission is $5, with all proceeds benefiting the Pacific Cancer Foundation Children’s Fund. The popular haunted attraction drew large crowds last year and promises another season of spooky fun for those who dare. Other Halloween happenings include the Kīhei 4th Friday Town Party on Oct. 24 at Azeka Mauka from 6 to 9 p.m., which features the annual Keiki Costume Contest beginning at 7 p.m., along with live music, food trucks, crafts and plenty of local shopping. MEOW-Loween Dance Party Fundraiser: Oct 25, 6-10PM
The Rusty MauiCat Collective presents The Third Annual Meow-Loween Dance Party Fundraiser on October 25, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. at Mulligans on the Blue located at 100 Kaukahi Street in Wailea. Join us for a fun night of DJ & dancing, door prizes and a silent auction. Come in costume and get a costume prize raffle ticket. Swag bags for the 1st 125 guests. Ace of Cups will also be joining us for Tarot Card readings. All proceeds will go towards our continued support of the feral cat community including TNR (trap-neuter-return) efforts, procuring more cat traps, providing medical support, cat food, supplies, and air fare to fly kittens to mainland shelters. Buy tickets here, expect to pay $25 if bought in advance or $30 at the door. Table reservations are recommended!
Halloween in the Gardens: Pet Parade & Keiki Costume Contest: Oct 30, 5-8PM
Join us for South Maui Gardens’ annual Halloween Pet Parade & Keiki Costume Contest on Thursday, October 30th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM! Bring your furry friends, little ghouls, and spooky squad for an epic night with a pet parade, costume contest, and local vendors! We’re teaming up with the Maui Humane Society again for this free community event. Stop by their booth to learn about their adoptable dogs, make a donation, and show your support for a great organization. Arrive early to enjoy the gardens, grab delicious bites from the food trucks, support local vendors, play yard games, and check out all the creative costumes. Don’t forget your treat bag for candy! Tempa & Naor’s Soul Kitchen Halloween Dance Party: Oct 31 at 7:30PM
On Friday, October 31st at 7:30pm, Tempa & Naor’s Soul Kitchen takes the stage at ProArts with the big band. Tempa’s powerhouse, soul-drenched vocals and Naor’s fiery guitar and ukulele rhythms lead the charge in a night of high-energy Zydeco, Soul, and Americana. Come dressed in your best costume for our costume contest, and celebrate Halloween island-style. It’s a night of music, magic, and mischief you won’t want to miss. Keiki Halloween at The Shops at Wailea: Oct 26, 3-7PM

Fins & Frights Night at Maui Ocean Center: Oct 26, 6-9PM
Maui Ocean Center will host “Fins & Frights Night” from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, featuring a marine-themed costume contest, trick-or-treating and showings of the “Humpbacks of Hawaiʻi” 3D experience. Join marine naturalists for educational activities, including making anglerfish hats and digging for shark teeth (with spiders). Keiki are encouraged to dress up as their favorite marine creature. A costume contest will feature prizes in three age categories as well as a family/group category. For more information, read this.
Haleakalā Waldorf School: Night of Delight: Oct 26, 4:30-8PM
Enter a world of twinkling lights and flickering candles as you embark on a magical journey of delight! Haleakala Waldorf School will present its annual ‘Night of Delight’ Sunday, October 27th, on its Kula campus. The school has once again created a wonderful world of theatrical skits and musical presentations for you and your children to explore. See fairy tales come to life, scarecrows that can talk or fire dancers weaving their hypnotic streams of flames. Children ages 2-10 will enjoy a Halloween experience like no other! At this alternative to trick-or-treating, families can experience the fun of Halloween in a safe and charming environment. Wear a friendly costume (not scary – no full masks please), bring a bag to collect your goodies, a flashlight to light your way, and most importantly — your imagination! Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics: Oct 26, 6:30 PM or 8:45 PM
Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Maui, HI. Get your tickets now to discover music inspired by Halloween at Maui Ocean Center, The Aquarium of Hawaii under the gentle glow of candlelight. Duration: 60 minutes. Haunted House and Halloween Spooktacular: Oct 30 & 31, 5:30-9:30PM
Celebrate Halloween with a spooky evening featuring our 15th Annual Haunted House. The entrance will be located at the resort’s front drive. Admission is $10 per person (cash only) and entry is by walk-in only; no reservations or tickets necessary. All proceeds will be donated to the Maui Charity Walk. The Haunted House is open from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. At 7:00pm, join us at Halona Kai Lawn for a complimentary Halloween Movie Night. Guests are welcome to dress in costume! Learn more here.
Spook-tacular Halloween Festival (MACC): Oct 30, 4:30-7:00 PM
No tricks, just treats (and prizes!) for the best costumes at Keiki Halloween Festival. Full entry details coming soon— wanted to get the details out to all you ghouls + goblins ASAP, so you could start planning! Spirits by the Sea: An Addams Family Halloween at MALA Ocean Tavern: Oct 31, 10PM-1AM
This Halloween, Lahaina’s oceanfront icon transforms into something delightfully spooky. Māla Ocean Tavern invites you to celebrate the night in true Addams Family style with Spirits by the Sea: An Addams Family Halloween on Friday, October 31st from 10PM–1AM. Step inside our seaside tavern and expect eerie ambiance, dark glamour, and plenty of “spirits” in every sense of the word. Our team has conjured up an evening that blends the mysterious charm of the Addams Family with Māla’s signature style. Tickets cost $10 when ordered in advance or $20 when purchased at the door. Holo Holo Halloween: Oct 31, 5-7PM
Queen Kaʻahumanu Center is thrilled to welcome the community back for another spook-tacular Holoholo Halloween on October 31st, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The first 100 keiki to arrive will receive a special Halloween treat, and participating stores throughout the center will be handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. Keiki are also invited to join the Halloween costume contest, with registration on-site required. The contest will feature three age categories: 0-4 years, 5-9 years, and 10-13 years, giving children of all ages the opportunity to showcase their creative costumes and compete for exciting prizes. This year, Queen Kaʻahumanu Center is proud to partner with Just Keiki Dental, who will be handing out goodies and introducing their Candy Buyback Program, scheduled for November 9th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. During the Candy Buyback event, keiki can trade in their extra Halloween candy for prizes, exclusive discounts at select Maui small businesses, and dental goodies. For more information, read this.
Island Soul Band Halloween Party: Oct 31, 7-10PM
Maui’s favorite dance band playing soul, funk, & rock at Mulligans On the Blue!! Playing hits from the 80s till now the dance floor is open. Food and drinks served all night, dancing, costume contest!! $15 cover at the door or $10 cover with an Open Table Reservation. For more information, click here.
