This is a question that has been posed to us numerous times, and we do not have the answer. Why do you think this is so? Our next election is less than a year from now. Are you registered? Do you vote? What about your ohana? If no, WHY?
Does signage induce residents to participate in the election process?
Do various candidate forums like ours induce voting in South Maui?
Does our County Legislature election system of at-large elections with residency requirements impede voter participation? Do you attend forums for candidates from other districts?

You do have a membership Chairman. Therefore, utilize them to reach out to the community regarding voting and why that’s important! Education and information is the key! You have activities thru the years?? Keep them informed. !
