Several KCA Directors were included in a meeting at the Kihei R & T Park this morning (12/20/12) which was hosted by Steve Perkins of R & T Park with special guest the renowned Dan Burton of the Walk Institute, examining pedestrian safety and sound road planning. Others included were State Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Charlene Sheboya, Sandra Mc Guinness of Nutritional & Physical Activity Coalition (NPAC), who arranged and facilitated the meeting, Chris Hart and partners reps David Sereda and Jen Mayden, Rory Frampton representing the Kaonoulu and Haleakala Ranches and Calthrope Associates’ John Butler(Electronically). The State Department of Education (DOE) was invited, but did not respond to the invitation.
