OK, you know KCA has no community meeting in December, but right on time here comes MECO to talk to the community about their proposed 70′ tall poles for transmission lines, and multi million dollar power substations, across Kihei. The meeting is set for 7pm-9pm on Tuesday Dec 13th at Kamali’i Elementary School 180 Ke Alii Alanui, at the Highway. KCA believes our community has the attention of Maui Electric as well as the three Public Utility commissioners, one who resides in Kihei, so we encourage you to attend and let your voice be heard.

No rational nor reasonable person can consider these hideous poles to be nothing but a blight to our beautiful state. The fact that MECO has leadership that would even consider this shows how poorly managed and irresponsible they are to our state and community.
