On Monday evening (7/16/12)  UH Manoa Professor, Dr Tom Giambelluca, creator of the Rainfall Atlas of Hawaii, received a warm welcome from over seventy attendees at UH MC as he began an informative power point presentation concerning  climate change on Maui. He indicated he expects rising temperature, lessened stream flow, decreasing rain fall and higher sea levels for Maui. Pointedly he emphasised that Maui has experienced the greatest decline in rainfall of all the Hawaiian Islands over the last few decade.
