Please do not cut the budget for The
Maui Humane Society, or The Lanai Cat sanctuary.
Thus will end up a high kill, 3rd world County.
This cause he community great harm, as so many pets have lost their lives due to the fires, covid 19 closures, and lack of spay and neuter programs.
Mahalo Diann for commenting on this post. While these matters may not officially be part of the KCA mission, I can advise that as a concerned animal advocate, I testified in support MHS of and HARF $$$ this morning . Just 1 facet of MHS funding was proposed to give LESS for spay & neuter!! MHS had a sizable team testifying to the Council’s Budget committee, and IMO many Councilors were most receptive. These hearing continue for another month, so be sure to tell them your concerns
