There will be primary elections in August for the County Council representatives for Upcountry, Wailuku and Kahului. You have probably already received your ballots if you are registered in Maui. Remember that all residents vote in all Council races, and all Council members make decisions on your behalf, no matter which district they are from. Your vote counts!

Kauanoe Batangan (Kahului), John Guard and Jon Yokouchi (Upcountry) couldn’t make it, but the others participated in the evening’s forum:
