The Kihei Community Association will host a County Council Member Candidate Forum on July 21 at 6:30 p.m. at ProArts Playhouse. This public meeting gives residents a valuable chance to hear directly from candidates running in the August primary election. It’s an important moment for our community to stay informed, ask questions, and engage in the democratic process.
During the forum, candidates will participate in a moderated Q&A session, responding to community‑driven questions about issues that matter most to Kihei and Maui. Topics may include land use, infrastructure, public safety, environmental stewardship, and long‑term planning. The goal is to help us understand each candidate’s priorities and approach — without endorsing any individuals.
KCA loves bringing neighbors together, and this forum is a great chance to stay connected and involved.
