The November 17 community meeting will be an informational meeting addressing Education in South Maui. Group 70 will give an update on plans for the future DOE Kihei High School. A diverse panel will address issues related to The Department of Education’s “Furlough Fridays” and their impact on our students and community. The focus topics will be: explanation of current situation, positive solutions to lost classroom time and positive events occurring in the schools.

The Kihei Community Association (KCA) invites ALL who are interested in our
children’s education to attend this informational meeting with
Representatives from our Legislature, BOE, DOE, HSTA and PTA leaders.
