How can the Hilton have been allowed to build so many structures including parking lots and on the ocean there when this area has always been a major flood zone. That tiny bridge is barely high enough to hold back the torrents of runoff from Haleakala. Why didnt’ they have to put in major infrastructure before building and also not be permitted to place so many structures on empty fields or beach front. Come on Maui County, Wise up!
