KCA Directors travel to eighth floor to ask several questions concerning South Maui Community issues.
Don Couch responded positively to another meeting request to meet with our board-members this morning (5/26/15) at the Council’s conference room. This was our second meeting in 2016, and we look forward to scheduling another in the fall. The majority of our all volunteer board members gladly participated so we could discuss a list of submitted inquires offered the week before so he could be prepared to respond, and not have check info to “get back” to us
We covered a large range of general and specific matters of continued concern of the community with some interesting results. Our topics ranged from the community plan, revised zoning codes, marine water quality, homelessness, infrastructure, and some specific areas of proposed development, and land preservation in Kihei. We felt Don was open to discussing all the topics we presented and was very cordial, but found we had some strong differences of opinion on several items.

Maybe someone could fill us in as to what was said. Nice you met with him…but what came of it?
I, too, would like to know what was said and if anything was agreed on.
On what items were the strong differences of opinion?
