The Aloha Makena Team has two upcoming August events at Mākena: Lau Ke Aloha Hawaiian Games and Community Art Creation.

LAU KE ALOHA HAWAIIAN GAMES & COMMUNITY ART CREATION DAY:  SUNDAY, AUGUST 17 at MĀKENAʻS HALE PILI

A free, family-friendly event for Maui residents to build connection with ʻāina through enjoying Hawaiian games and art creation with local Maui artists.

• 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Art Session 1 – Drawing Wiliwili Ocean Forms & Wiliwili Saplings in Watercolor
• 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Art Session 2 – Drawing Wiliwili Mauka Forms & Wiliwili in Bloom in Watercolor
