South Kihei Road Closed this weekend (4/6 – 4/8/24)!

In lower portion (between the signs) you see barriers. This is the location of the collapsed bike lane that is one of the repairs

Starting 7:30 AM Saturday morning South Kihei Road will be closed between Kaonoulu and Kūlanihāko‘i. As we know, without the long awaited North-South Collector Road (NSCR) at this location, there is no County transportation route. Thus the only route is the State Highway.

County Public Works (DPW) did some road repairs in this same stretch of road last month.
