Starting 7:30 AM Saturday morning South Kihei Road will be closed between Kaonoulu and Kūlanihāko‘i. As we know, without the long awaited North-South Collector Road (NSCR) at this location, there is no County transportation route. Thus the only route is the State Highway.

County Public Works (DPW) did some road repairs in this same stretch of road last month.
