Busy Afternoon at Maui Humane Society

Did you know that Maui Humane Society (MHS), the county animal shelter,  is in our district of South Maui?  This afternoon was a busy time as a swarm of volunteers descended on a large donation of animal products just received in the parking area. They were unpacking, sorting and distributing the assorted products.

Additionally we ran into a contingent from Arizona who have been on Maui for a week responding to a call to come help in this time of need for our furry friends. They were packing up for their return home today.
