Nearly two decades ago, Krausz  Companies began communication with KCA concerning their Downtown Kihei project, situated between Liloa Drive and South Kihei Rd along both sides of Pi’ikea as a commercial project. Over that time numerous changes to the original concept have occurred, from abandoning the movie theater to adding the three phases of affordable rentals now under construction. But some things have not changed, like inclusion of sidewalks and bike lanes along Pi’ikea, which seem to be happening now in this construction project.
