A decade long continuous drive by KCA members offers basic help to keiki and kupuna

About ten years ago KCA leadership organized a day long MFB drive in front of Kihei Safeway with support of the Maui Food Bank. Once the product was delivered to MFB we moved on to other projects . However, we asked MFB if we could retain one container for use at our (then) monthly community meetings, as well as any other events to continue to support MFB’s good work helping to feed those in need by supplying numerous non profits who directly distribute the product to those in need

Each year MFB offers us recognition for the members’ effort, so we want to insure you have the opportunity to see this kindly gesture, and also remind everyone, that as we now only collect at the six general membership meetings, guys may consider upping the number of products that you bring to each meeting, as the need is as great, and in many ways greater than ever. Next meeting is our first of two candidate forums on July 19 , so please remember your donations, as you listen to the candidates to make informed choices in the August 13 election. As always. meeting commences at 6:30 PM sharp at KCMS
