Historically South Maui ‘s % of the capital improvement projects (CIP) funding has consistently been much less than the Central and West districts. This funding is for items like infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, bike paths, bridges and water & sewer lines).

“Purple pipes” are used to transport recycled R-1 water Using these to extend the transmission of this resource for irrigation has numerous benefits.

Having improved transportation infrastructure like the very long awaited North-South Collector Road can reduce traffic congestion

Throughout  this first quarter century we have reported on this disparity but seen little improvement.
