Maui County Senior Long Range Planner David Yamashia spent over an hour educating the planning committee on the present status of the Puunene “Motor Sports park” facility area, which is owned by the State DLNR, with portions run by the County under executive order. He outlined the present location of all the various motor sports & recreation groups using the unique park, as well the current proposed location of the new State jail for Maui County.
