The guy who used to be the Chief of the MPD Kihei Patrol District is now the Chief of the entire County Department, and  Kihei has a new chief. You can meet and question the new Chief of Police on Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM at the Kihei Charter Middle School, 41 E Lipoa, as the Kihei Community Association (KCA) starts the year of general membership meetings, open to the public.

Chief Tivoli “Tivo” Faaumu , along with several of his team members, will greet the community, offer a department presentation and answer your questions. They will concentrate on So Maui issues for the department. Come meet & congratulate the new chief

In addition KCA will introduce their own new leadership elected on 1/8/15, the four officers of the Organization. Non perishable donations for the Maui Food Bank are strongly requested. Meetings are open to the public, but membership is encouraged. For over half a century, the KCA has worked to improve quality of life for the South Maui Community. Doors open at 6:00 PM for pupu and socialization; meeting begins “on time” at 6:30 PM
