Congratulations to Chief Tivoli S Faaumu, MPD New Chief

While KCA has had an outstanding relationship with him as he headed up the Kihei division for several years, we are very pleased to relinquish “Tivo” as “our” Chief to the entire county, so they can experience his extraordinary skills and manner as we have.

This morning (11/3/14) at the new Kihei police station,  KCA board and committee members were present to celebrate the official swearing in ceremony at 11:30 AM. The new first floor conference room was packed, as was the foyer, used as a adjacent seating area to SRO, as the ceremony began just before the official start time with opening by Sgt Audra Sellers, comments from the mayor and the  police commission chair before Chief Tivoli Faaumu  and his deputy Dean Rickard were both officially sworn in by Judge Richard Bissen.
