The Lahaina Arts Society is unable to hold their upcoming benefit for Maui artists and to fund free art programs for the keiki under the Banyan Tree in Lahaina because of repair work going on there. Unfortunate for Lahaina, lucky for Kihei. For the first time ever we will be able to enjoy the event here, on the grounds of the Maui Brewing Company.
Mahalo for your post! Lahaina Arts Society really appreciates it. Many of our artists live in Kihei- like me- and this has hit home with loss of revenue and funding for our charities. We would love to make this a regular event if we meet with some success. Maui Brewing Company was very gracious to offer us this opportunity!
