2/28/18 #kihei
Our next General Membership  Meeting, which is open to the community is scheduled for (no surprise) the third Tuesday of the month, which hits on March 20 at 6:30 PM at the usual location, Kihei Charter Middle  School, 41 E Lipoa. We are fortunate to be able to get both a State and County Legislature update from our respective south Maui elected officials. We especially want to thank Senator Roz Baker for taking time during the hectic 2018 session at the Capital to zip over from (and then right back to) Oahu for this meeting to offer an update on some matters of concern, led by the DOE proposed High School.

As the Maui County Council gears up for the annual marathon series of budget meetings at the Budget and Finance committee in the latter part of March, our councilwoman, Kelly King will likewise advise some issues of import to South Maui at the county level.

Please remember to bring a non perishable food donation for our continuous Maui Food Bank food drive. Keike and kapuna are going to bed hungry right here on our Island.
