NOTE:  There will be a site visit on Monday 11/25/13 at 9:00 AM at the fish pond   in Makena!

This Thursday (10/10/13)  the stakeholders comprising the Oneloa Coalition, which includes a group of area non profits like your Association, as well as area residents and businesses, beach users and State & County representatives, held a meeting hosted by Maui Tomorrow Executive Director Irene Bowie to discuss a proposed project at the Panika Fishpond, which is within the Makena State Park boundaries.

Much of the discussion focused on the formation of partnership between the Coalition and the State DLNR to raise needed funds, Currently there are numerous sources and types of grants and funding available.

The topic continues to be a prime concern of our membership and community.
