BIG New Sign For Little Kihei Park Sparks Questions

This week there is a very large new sign identifying the old shoreline park in North Kihei. It is hard to miss.

Over the years, more and more signs seem to sprout here. There is a sign offering a historical significance of the park, a sign forbidding camping, among a number of other signs. An increasing amount of signs has also happened at several other county parks. 

But this new sign has us wondering what motivated the County Parks Department to erect this sign after all these years.
