6/7/18 #kihei
Part of our mission and vision is a healthy coral reef system thriving in Maalaea Bay. A complex series of misguided actions and missteps have to be reversed to achieve such a vision, but it can be accomplished by an educated and involved community leading government and commercial entities. We do what actions we can, as well as offer support to other organizations which use other methods and actions. The Snorkel Bob Foundation is one of those with which KCA has a long history, so we are happy to offer this notice about an entertaining and educational film event at the end of this month:
We have an ocean event at the MACC, Saturday, June 30 at 7 p.m. THE DARK HOBBY is a new movie still in the works, to be released later this year but here now is a sneak preview. We’ll also show a 30-minute sample from Dragon Walk, On Reef Recovery & Political Will. It should be a great evening for ocean people on a double feature from Paradise Filmworks International and The Snorkel Bob Foundation. Filmed on location in the Philippines, Indonesia and Hawaii. Maui Tickets online at:http://www.mauiarts.org/event-detail.php?id=680 Or at the MACC box office.
