Since the volume of vehicles traveling on the local streets and highways is way down, this is a good time to work on the roads.
Recently, Kihei Community Association reported on drain repair work for Keonekai Road.
Similar work is planned for Auhana Road, a short stretch between between Paulele Place and Halona Street, beginning Monday, April 6.
Kanani Road seems to be an efficient alternative for travel during the construction period, which is expected to last about two months.
