5/31/23 #kihei

Last evening about 2 dozen concerned residents gathered at the Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge visitor center in N. Kihei to hear about the watershed resources of Waikapū-Waiakoa. With the joint support of Tova Calendar and Katie Woodbury, Michael Reyes offered a short visual presentation followed by some interactive exercises.

In addition, while he was not part of the presentation, the location host Bret Wolf cordially invited all those participating to a guided tour of the sanctuary at some convenient time.

As the meeting was nearing conclusion, the area experienced an electric power outage turning the room black and leading to a more abrupt conclusion.
