Tuesday’s (10/15/13 )evening’s final 2013 public community meeting followed a format KCA has not offered in at least two years. Guided by a overall general theme of South Maui volunteered groups, a diverse assembly of organizations each offered a short presentation on what their group did, and what they were trying to achieve. From establishing a sense of place and identity to a smaller neighborhood, to offering security for residents and visitors, each faction showed how they worked to make South Maui a better place, each in their own way. This can also describe what you Association does as well. Look for a professional meeting report in next week’s Maui Weekly.
The November 19 meeting is a members only party at the VFW facility on the beach catered by KCA business member Three’s Bar and Grill. Be sure your membership is up to date- or sign up now, if you are not already a member.
We’ll be back at the Kihei Charter School facility in 2014 for the first meeting on JAN 21. We are already working on topics most important to our community. Keep checking this website for updates on community matters and updates for 2014.
