Are you a confident swimmer? Can your kids swim?
Sometimes living on an island in the middle of the Pacific, swimming is considered a natural activity. Whether you were lucky enough to be born here or made a conscientious decision to relocate here, water activities are part of most guys lives on Maui, especially in South Maui. But is not only visitors who get in trouble in the kai. Some kekei are not comfortable in the water, so they avoid it, and do not learn to swim. Even worse some adults never learned to swim, and can quickly be in peril if they somehow get “caught” in a tough wet situation. But it does not have to be that way, as within reason, it is never too soon, nor too late, to learn to swim. And this is your or their chance to rectify this, right here in Kihei.
