Do Farmers have Holidays?

None of the ones we know do. So why is the Lipoa St. Farmers Market closed this Saturday (9/3/16)?

So this Saturday kicks off Labor Day (Monday 9/5) Weekend, a time for cookouts, picnics, beach fun and the close of the unofficial summer season (OK, not on Maui- that’s one of the reasons you live here, right?) And as its name says, Labor Day is for workers, guys who work for a living, and does anyone work harder than farmers?

So did the farmers say holiday- no work? You know better. No, mother nature said limited harvest right now, farmers, I am not yet ready, and we all wait for her

So no market this Saturday, but the regulars will be back on 9/10 with the fresh, nutritious organic products right in the heart of Kihei
