We will meet with you and your design team, both pre-design and during design development. We use the Kihei Smart Growth Scorecards to review projects. This scorecard is an overview of the priorities that are important to our community. It gives a structure and value to these goals, and provides a framework to inspire cooperation and collaboration in achieving our vision.
Qualifying for a Review
A Gold Level business membership ($500 annually) will qualify you for a preliminary design review and an advanced design review within two years of joining.

To arrange a design review meeting please email your request to KCA@GoKihei.org and the Committee Chair will contact you.
Preliminary Design Meeting
Download the Preliminary Scorecard, fill it out and email it to us at design_review@gokihei.org before the review. See the Scorecard Directions for help in filling out the scorecard.
At the review, you will have 30 minutes to present your project to us, in the context of the scorecard. Then we will take 30 minutes to complete the scorecard, while you have a break downstairs. The final step will be a discussion comparing our scoring to your scoring. Please allot 1.5 hours for this meeting.
Advanced Design Meeting
Download the Advanced Scorecard, fill it out and email it to us at design_review@gokihei.org before the review. See the Scorecard Directions for help in filling out the scorecard.
At the review, you will have 45 minutes to present your project to us, in context of the scorecard. Then we will take 30 minutes to complete the scorecard, while you take a break downstairs. The final step will be a discussion comparing our scoring to your scoring. Please allot two hours for this meeting.
