Wednesday, January 4, 5:30 pm at the Kihei Community Center (next to the Aquatic Center) – the South Maui Community Plan Advisory Committee
Meeting kickoff with three presentations
We will hear from Tara Owens, Jim Buika and Brad Ventura about Climate Change, Sea Level Rise, Resiliency and Disaster Preparedness and Fire Hazards. After that, we will continue to work on implementing actions for the first of the five broad topic areas of the South Maui Community Plan – Transportation.
How to make your mark
Your testimony will have the most impact if it directly references proposed policies and actions that are to be discussed at the week’s meeting. The best way to ensure that is to submit written testimony by noon on a Monday for the specific topics of the week’s meeting to wearesouthmaui@mauicounty.gov. You can also testify in person.
