KCA meets with County Planning Department

County Planning Director Will Spence and KCA President Jon Miller show mutual appreciation and respect after a July 7 meeting at the director’s office in Wailuku with a heavy discussion of how the two entities can work together to improve the quality of Kihei’s development. There was particular concern with near future plans for commencement of commercial development mauka of the Pi’ilani Highway, and Mau Electric’s plans for new transmission lines across Kihei. While much of the meeting invlolved very serious discussions and concerns, as one can observe, there was room for some levity.
