UPDATE   August 13, the lot is paved and the trucks and cars are back on site

8/10/14    For almost two years we have watched and reported on this plot of land mauka of the highway just north of Blackie’s Shell gas station, next to the batting cages.

Then on June 6, we noted a continuously growing number of used cars began filling the lot, including the telltale one with the sign:

But wait! Just 2 month after the lot had filled up with motor vehicles, it was completely empty (where are the pick-ups?) Turns out the business decided to pave the lot on which all these vehicles will stand, so had to remove all for now.
