7/24/16   Yes in fact it was. After being chastised by the mountains of Hawaii, she veered away from Maui. So we moved a few miles north about a day later to Mai Poina, & except for cloud cover and a little wind- yes, the windsurfers jumped on  that, just another Kihei day.

Will this be yet another “much ado about nothing?” Darby never seemed very powerful even before indications it could hit Maui.

Saturday afternoon at closed Kalama Park, all seemed very calm & quiet on land and sea. Is this the calm before the storm? We shall see.
