Vision Zero Event and Memorial Bike Ride
8:30am – 12:00pm Saturday, September 15, 2018
Kalama Park, Kihei

What is Vision Zero? Vision Zero is a goal to have no traffic fatalities by 2040.

Join “Creating Healthier Communities” for a Vision Zero kickoff event followed by a memorial bike ride in honor of Karl Hagen, who was fatally struck while riding his bicycle on Pi‘ilani Highway. The goal of this event is to bring together elected leaders, engineers, police, community members, and safety advocates to promote solutions that move Maui toward the goal of Vision Zero. Everyone has the right to be safe on Maui’s roads.
Event details to follow. For more information, contact Lauren Armstrong at 866-2324 or lauren@mauimpo.org
