Dude, because you need to vote for all nine Councilmembers to determine what is best for South Maui.

We are unclear why this issue never goes away. The County system is NOT district voting, so all nine council members represent the entire county population. In our experience and opinion this new representative from the 3 W district is just a important as the South Maui one, as they each cast a single vote. And this one has five new candidates & no incumbent   (   bye bye Mike)   You need to determine which one is best for you, as five will be reduced to two in August, and to one in November.

So with mahalo for the Young Democrats, we announce their next forum this Sunday (7/24) at 4:00 PM (social), 4:30 (panel begins) at the Wailuku Community Center 395 Waena St Wailuku (Just off Lower Main St.) concluding at 6:00 PM

Beyond that, keep in mind the Farmer’s Union will be back, this time doing County Council candidates on WEDNESDAY  AT 6:00 PM AT BALDWIN HIGH SCHOOL
